We finished July with the beautiful wedding of Steph and Jamie in Essex and headed into August with our two big weddings both being based in Suffolk.

The weather throughout August had been very strange - some weeks boiling hot, other weeks full of rain and so a close eye was kept on the forecast for the week leading up to the bank Holiday - however it was changing everyday and was a case of just having to see what nature provided for us!

I first met with Sarah and Josh back in July 2014 and Sarah's immediate request for her photography was to be doing something a bit "different" from the normal overly traditional shots you can find. The locations were booked - Stratford St Mary Church and the stunning Priory Hall in Hadleigh, so photographically speaking you can't get much better in the area.

As well as being there to document and capture the day with your camera, when you personally know a couple (well certainly the groom Josh) you can't help also but feel that little more involved. The day saw us start out with all the boys at Josh's parents house then head off to see Sarah who was preparing with her bridesmaids at Milsoms hotel close by. The day was nice and clear, a hint of cloud and a hint of sun which given the ever changing weather throughout August was most welcome.

The day in all went off superbly well. All of Sarah and Josh's family and friends were extremely welcoming, friendly and willing to try a few slightly different shots for us on the day! Great sports all round and has helped to provide the bride and groom with a varied mix of traditional and very non-traditional photographs from the day.

A huge thank you to Sarah and Josh for entrusting us with their big day and we are wishing them both every happiness for the future.

Thank you also to my assistant for the day Joe Howlett who once again was a massive help and is turning into a brilliant photographer as well as assistant and to the videographer Alex Ferguson of Newton Video Productions who was a pleasure to work alongside
